Atta boy, Footwedge! Way to stick your neck out!

"Bat" Masterson at 3-8 on the hill vs. Slowey (which I hope he is). I believe Masterson is due for a victory. I am anxious to see how Pronk does, given the disdain I read on the Game 1 thread. He did have a couple of horrible AB's, but still was 2-5.

Go Tribe!

You mean like he is right now, Big Dawg? Donald should have caught that ball, though. 1-0 B1 with two outs.

Once again the Indians are on pace to have the best record in MLB after the All-Star break. If only they didn't dig themselves into such a hole before the break.

Oh, BTW, I see that Jensen Lewis got sent down to think about that "wonderful" outing he had last night....including giving up a tape measure job to his childhood hero, Benedict Thome (number 575). Masterson escapes giving up only one run.

So is Brantley going to be up with the club and on the bench in favor of Nix/Duncan now? I understand giving him a day off for Duncan/Nix whichever it is. But when Choo is back, he better be in the line-up as well as Crowe. No sense in playing these guys with little to no future with the club.

I honestly don't see what they see in Donald. He doesn't even make the routine plays. What makes me mad is that they moved Nix out of his spot at 2B. Here we go again...back to musical positions...like that really worked last year. Leave Nix alone at second and let him get/stay comfortable. make Donald the utility guy...lord knows he doesn't deserve more than that.

They said they expect him to clear waivers and be signed and sent to Columbus.

Thats what I was kind of eluding too in my post above. Drubby at SS, Nix at 2b, Donald to the bench. Duncan to the bench as well. Kearns is the ONLY guy who should be taking ABs from Choo/Crowe/Brantley when Choo comes back.

Line drive to Donald ruled a hit? Apparently the scorekeeper never played baseball. Speaking of Donald, why is God on the bench?

I think he was DFA...out of options. He'll have to clear waivers....

Whoa! A lot to comment on.

First off, Hits: I agree with you.

And then we have the Lewis is expected to clear waivers? Really? Nobody wants him?! Ha Ha

Well, whatever, we still in it.

Crowe with a great running catch in CF and almost doubled up Cuddyer, but Asrdubal rushed his relay and pulled LaPorta off the bag even though he had a ton of time.

He might not take an AB outside of the 3 hole in his career in Cleveland!

I know, it was said tongue in cheek. I dont recall anyone ever being in inserted in the 3 hole from day 1 (for a Tribe game or a game I was watching).

I knew that. That's why I posted the smiley! BUT....you are probably right.

We up 3-1, but they got a lead off double.
