then he went and scrwed the pooch which eventually resulted in the creation of this heavenly place where I didn't have to pay $12

That was the new owner(s). JJ made the sale in early 2000s I think.

Laley's right. JJ didn't screw the pooch...unless you count potentially sabotaging the site after selling it as screwing the pooch.

I mean, think about it. Dude has this site that grows a lot. As more people come on board, the "close-knit family" sort of vibe disappears gradually and he starts getting sick of it. He sells it, but is allowed to stay onboard as an admin in order to keep JJ part of JJHuddle. And well, let's see...there was a period of really draconian modding after the sale and then after Bucknuts said the site was free and going to be far more leniently modded, a shitload of hardassedness still happened...which some people have mentioned was JJ doing his own thing and no one above him really doing anything to keep him in check. Bucknuts screwed themselves by letting him be more than a cosmetic figurehead. He got his $$$ and no longer had to worry about the consequences of chasing traffic away.

I'd hit the report as Spam button.

Oh sweet, I see they have a function that lets you search every team's schedule!

You know, that same feature that has been directly available from the OHSAA for years, and that the OHSAA had up and running for this year in like May...

Nothing like paying people to reinvent the wheel, no wonder they were going broke.
