I'd guess he insinuated he was with the production team of the network carrying the game and therefore needed one more room. Who knows.

I can buy that she was just having fun by herself naked in the hotel room... but I don't buy that the peephole lines up perfectly with where she's naked the entire time, or most of the entire time. Seems too improbable.

Agreed, at some point coincidence isn't coincidence, she's shaking her ass right in front of the peephole. That's a one in a million shot. How the heck would the guy even know to film at that time?

so, I don't follow this stuff, did he film through the peep hole in the door or actually drill through the wall from an adjoining room? Seems like someone would have noticed either way.

I'm guessing he shot hours of video tape and just put the best part online. Maybe this is just me being COMPLETELY off base, but a guy who would follow a C-list celebrity around the country and spy on her through a peep hole, might, just might, be obsessive enough to film her every moment she's in the room?

Of course, it's completely impossible that for ten minutes out of hours of film she could be getting ready where he could see her. That's just too big a coincidence to possibly believe, being how huge hotel rooms are and everything.

It's likely all a conspiracy on Andrews' part. The guy is a real trooper though, serving a three year prison sentence as part of this plan which he gained nothing out of. Must just be a loyal friend I guess....

I suppose she could have paid him under the table to serve this three year prison sentence and ruin the remainder of his life. Although, no one directly profited from the tape, so that payment would have to come out of her ESPN/Dancing with the Stars money, which isn't really enough to make the sort of payment someone would demand for such a loss, at least I wouldn't think.

Or maybe he was some weird guy who video taped her and put it on the internet to get his rocks off.... Nah, that sounds WAY too complicated, must be a conspiracy. After all, she wiggled her ass toward the hidden camera at one point.

Maybe he never thought he would get prison time. I mean you can get drunk and kill someone with your car and only get 21 days. What's a harmless video among friends. lmao :D

The bolded statement is going to be a key issue in the defense of this case. Erin Andrews' burden will be to prove neglience and that the negligence caused damage. One of the elements of damages is economic damages. Economic damages consist loss of past wages, future wages and earning capacity and loss of services. I would find it a hard pill to swollow if Andrews comes into this case and alleges loss of future earnings. Everyone has seen her career has skyrocketed. She is still on ESPN and in fact has recently engaged in a new gig. She has had heer face all over the tabloids and even was on "Dancing With the Stars". If anything, I woudl venture her earnings are at an all time high.

Andrews will plead for non-economic damages as well (things like pain and suffering, scarring, etc.). She would likely be able to recoup there, but I still has to wornder how much pain and suffering the woman actually suffered. I know it is all subjective, but frankly I think it is a lot of hoo-ha if you ask me.

100% agreed. There aren't any damages...she skanked herself into popularity. Whether the video was shot in Columbus or Nashville or wherever, someone knew to video at that time and she knew to jig around at that time.

Wow, I can't believe there are people who think EA did this to herself. Maybe I'm justy naive, but it seems to me she is definitely a victim here and the Blackwell (and therefore OSU) screwed up big time by giving her stalker information about her and a room right next to hers.

I won't argue that she has benefitted from it, but I bet that she feels much safer now that the stalker guy is doing time.

Has any hot female "celebrity" had her career hurt by a nude video/sex tape? Honesty? I very much doubt it. This is the kind of thing that they do to generate more press and pay, not to hurt their careers. Not that I think Andrews orchestrated this.
