I am on my weekend bike ride on the Holmes county trail. I decide to head off the trail in the town of Millersburg to visit my wife who is working there and grab some water. To get to my wife's place of work I have to go through an area of town that is lower income and supposedly a place "known" to have a lot of drug users.
I see an all decked out black Cadillac Escilade complete with those spinning hub caps. It pulls out after being parked along side the street and I see a young white person heading into the house where the Cadillac was parked. As the Cadillac headed towards me I notice the driver is a young black male (keep in mind you could count the number of black people living in Millersburg on your right hand).
The first thought that pops into my head is I just witnessed the tail end of a drug deal. Then as the Cadillac is passing me on the opposite side of the street he turns right on a side street. I look at his rear license plates and they are dealer plates. I chuckle to myself and think now that is ironic.
Then I think ah come on this was just some young man out test riding a vehicle he was thinking of purchasing. While doing so he stops to show his friend what he is looking at buying.
I guess I should be signing up for rehab.
