Channel 10 just reported that EA is suing Ohio State and the Blackwell because of the videotaping incident. She's claiming they were negligent because 1) they told the dumbass guy over the phone that she was staying there...and 2) they gave the guy her room number.

Can't imagine OSU will be real upbeat about having GameDay on campus this season with a pending lawsuit hanging over them.

Not so fast. They will be there for the Miami game, and you can take that to the bank!

No they won't. Penn State/Alabama is a much bigger matchup.

Agreed. That game will generate Gameday too much review for them to disregard it. They will be there versus Miami (Fl.)

What does that prove? Alabama is ranked higher than Ohio State, and Penn State is ranked higher than Miami (in most polls). That equals a better matchup.

Wrong. Phil Steele says Miami should be 14 and doesn't list Penn State in his top 15.

Penn State will be 20 at best. They are a young team with the exception of their RB. There won't be any polls with PSU above Miami.

22. Penn State: JoePa going for No. 400. Highest rank, No. 18. Not ranked by Sporting News. (27 points. Avg. rank No. 20 and No. 21)
A compilation of preseason mag rankings.

.
lol okay, fine, so Penn State will be a few spots below Miami...doesn't make the matchup any better. I still think it will be PSU/Bama.

My money is on OSU vs. Miami. ESPN is going to play up the 2002 NC rematch, plus I'm sure they'll be at plenty of Alabama games this year.

PSU/Bama is at 6, OSU/Miami is at 3:30. Dont overlook the time of day ESPN is going to want their gameday game to be shown. They will prefer the later game if possible.

bingo....the tradition of this rivalry trumps any disparity in the rankings, especially this early in the season.

This is what I was thinking. They often (though not always) take the late games so they can keep going back to the set and talk about that game on and off all day.

I saw 7:00 for the PSU/Bama game. Nonetheless, it's later than the OSU game.

Business is business. If ESPN wants to be there, they'll be welcomed with open arms.

Looks like they are headed to Bama. I didn't know they times were already set. OSU Miami is on ESPN. Bama PSU is also on ESPN at 7pm according to the schedules. Which I thought was weird that neither were on ABC.

Also agree, Penn State Alabama is much bigger. Have those teams played since the early 80's?
