Has anyone drove by the new billboard yet? Man it's awesome. They put it up right on the city limits in the west end.

And up the road Mooney has the same billboard... But the fine print reads "Unless you are considering Big Red because we want REAL winners"

So the kids from Wintersville that go to Big Red aren't "real winners"???

I did see a real billboard out near Federico's (I think thats where) when I was in the Ville a few days ago. It must be part of the recruiting tactics. SOS probably threw a temper tantrum when he drove by and saw it, lol.

SOS, how did it feel when your alma mater got destroyed by fake winners for those three years. Pathetic?

Open Enrollment has only been around since the mid 90s, so I would say Big Red has won a lot with just Steubenville kids.

I don't SOS I think the whole arguement is bogus.Not just on your part but just in general.I mean you know how I feel about OE and to this day I still feel that the kid and the parent nake the choice.I just don't see Reno and gang going around the valley talking to kids about playing ball for BIG RED.That is so easy to get caught doing.they would have been caught now.Besides this arguement has been going on for 30 + years.Not only the recruiting thing but how everyone says BIGRED doesn't play anyone good.So if your gonna hate the school for attracting kids to come there then you have to say the same thing about the parents and kids who make the decision.Doing that would make no sense since doing what you want and is best for you is the American way of life and is our right.

...i think I saw one of these over in Allegheny County.

I'll start: State Championship 1984, Region Champs in 87-88 and State Runner-up, someone older than me will be able to elaborate. I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 wins prior to OE JUST IM MY BRIEF LIFETIME ALONE..... and that almost scratches the surface prior to OE.

Did you really think you were going to prove some point by asking what they'd won prior to OE? If anything you've defeated your own point.

In short its a truckload of ball games (post season games included)...

You do realize that it was their choice to get the F out of loserville and they probably won't WANT TO come back and play for team McDonald's anytime soon? You get that part of it right?

Back in the day you hated BIG RED and you didn't need a reason.Nowadays you have to have a reason.So all the excuses are really coming from the other side.Now that's deep man.So darkon I don't think that BIGRED fans are making excuses they are just defending the haters excuses.Does that make any sense?

Yea Snyds that does make sense. I may not agree accross the board though.
Believe it or not I pull for Big Red in most of the games. Last year I hoped Dover would get you but we know how that went. I am with you against Mooney(public over private) and any out of state team. I support the local schools.
This is all in fun. I have no problem with any kid no matter who they want to play for. I like to have fun with some of the over the top fans.

What ever happened to Tank2Nasty(I think that was his username). He was fun and some good comebacks.

Do you even have the slightest clue what your talking about? Sometimes I think you just see something that was typed and make up your own fantasy as to what it relates to.
