so I went to see Inception tonight, and this preview came on...everyone was into it and then "from the mind of shamalamadingdong" came across the street and the whole place started laughing, and I mean laughing hard. I can't imagine a bigger fall from grace for a director.

^^^after the 'Sixth Sense' it quickly became obvious he was a one-trick pony....

too bad, though.
Sixth Sense was defiinitely awesome...he just could not live up to it...and as each movie went by, it seemed like he was trying way too hard to get that "killer twist" ending.

or, maybe we were all expecting too much.

This is it. He tried to make The Happening a "B Movie." I mean he wasn't even trying to say it was going to be a great one, just a fun one.

The Happening is the worst movie I have ever watched. When they were running from the wind is the dumbest scene I have ever seen. I only kept watching this movie to see how awesomely bad it could be.

The happening was really bad, but it wasn't all-time bad...come on, you can name worse movies than this one

Do you think they will advertise this as his second R rated movie? You know a movie is bad when they are advertising what the rating is.

Sixth Sense-Really great,
Unbreakable-okay, a bit slow on the pace
Signs-Loved it, favorite of all of his movies. Really seems like there is a lot in this movie, and I seem to pick up new things in everytime I watch it.
The Village-okay, not my favorite movie of all time, but I don't hate it as much as everyone else.
Lady in the Water-Didn't see it
The Happening-When you look at it as Bmovie, it is kind of cool. That makes many of the scenes more tolerable (zookeeper being eaten by the tiger.) If you look at it as a serious movie, it's terrible.
Devil-Will probably check it out. It isn't a remake or a sequel, so I am at least somewhat intrigued

Umm... it was darn close. One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

This.

I watched The Sixth Sense for the first time in a decade last night, it wasn't as freaky as when I convinced my grandmother to take me when I was in the third grade back in 1999. :D

I called the twist for The Village after seeing the trailer. I've only seen a few of his movies and haven't loved any of them (I haven't seen Sixth Sense). The trailors for his movies always look sweet, but the movies rarely live up to the hype. Maybe he should just make trailers.
