Alabama wins SEC Title, beating Tennessee for the 2nd time this season. This will go down as a shoulda woulda coulda season for the Tide. Just a play or 2 from being undefeated and having a shot at a National Championship. We lose a lot off this team, but we have guys eager to step in and prove themselves. Our focus is on the Sugar Bowl right now and sending out Mark Ingram, Julio Jones and our 6 seniors on the defensive side of the ball on the right note.

Coach Smeltz_11 after the game:
" We played a tough team today. The offense did a decent job. I thought the 2 QBS did ok, but the run game really was disappointing. This group of kids worked hard all year to get to where they are. Theres no shame in losing to a top team in a game like this. We will go back to Happy Valley and get busy on the offseason. We have a great core of players coming back including our star QB Kevin Newsome coming off the injury that put him out the last part of the season. We will be ok moving forward."
Erin Andrews ended by asking Coach Smeltz_11 about rumors that have flared up about the possibility that he would consider taking the Florida Gators job after next season when Urban Meyer will be retiring for good " We have an entire season to play. Obviously I am happy here at Penn State and we have done some great things. I am not thinking about leaving anytime soon....."

Great game Smeltz! I was able to keep your running game in check for the most part. You gave me a minute too much to drive down the field and get that game winning field goal as time expired. Penn St has a very good group and they will most likely be back next year. As for me, I'm going to enjoy this win for the time being and then our guys are gonna hit the weights in the offseason

Been looking at some of the schedules...and its pretty noticeable who has the one of the easier schedules this year (No names to be mentioned) B U C K S (cough cough) C O M M I S H (cough cough) lol

No offense to hammerthrower because he is a good player, but if Penn State beats Pryor-less Ohio State there is no way he loses a game. But Texas doesn't have to play USC, Alabama, Penn State, Ohio State, Notre Dame or Florida State.
