It was for Happ and 2 low level prospects to Houston. One of the prospects (Anthony Gose) was then traded to Toronto for BRett Wallace

Florida has agreed to trade Jorge Cantu to Texas for 2 pitching prospects

The deadline on Saturday may be the most quiet deadline ever with most of the big names off the market.

OK I got you...I was confused when you said they were getting 3 pitchers, I was thinking you meant from the Phillies.

Matt Capps was traded to Minnesota for 2 prospects, including their 2nd overall rated prospect.

Capps will be the closer and Jon Rauch will move into the setup role for Minnesota.

the White Sox and Diamonbacks are discussing a deal for Edwin Jackson.

Daniel Hudson and another prospect would head to Arizona in exchange for Jackson.

In the last 20 minutes, the Edwin Jackson-Chicago talks are on the back burner as Kenny Williams is working on a deal that would "shock the world"

If it's going to "shock the world" I would think it would have to be a player no one expected to be on the market.

Chicago has made an offer for Dunn centered around Jackson.

If that gets done, they will then try and go after BRett Myers from Houston.

This isn't 2005 any more. Berkman is getting eerily close to the sunset of his career. He might benefit from playing in New York, I don't know. Let's just not pretend that this is the same player we remember from a few years back
