^ Good List. How about Keenum or Ryan Mallet both are having standout years.

Keenum has no shot this year unfortunately. Next year is when he will make the serious Heisman run. No one outside of conference USA or really big college football fans knew who he was in august and that will work against him this year. Next year he will have been gaining attention and hype for a while. and there will be the media attention that comes with hunting down the NCAA's all time passing yardage record. Right now, with 3 more games to play in this season Keenum has 11878 yards in his career, Timmy Chang's record is 15,470. He has been averaging over 418 yards per game this season and like I said he has 3 more games to play and could conceivably close the gap to around 2000 yards. He could also become the only person in history to post 3 straight 5000 yard seasons.

Gerhart

Spiller/Ingram/McCoy

But much is left to happen in this season. Spiller became the only player to score in every game this weekend, even though his numbers were just decent. But if Spiller/Ingram win their conference championships it will likely be one of them. Colt is looking good too.

Yeah, I am pretty sure he mean't every game this season.

Rushing, receiving, passing, kick return, and punt return.

Put him on defense and I bet he takes an INT to the house lol.

If I had to bet money on it right now, I would say whoever wins the Florida-Alabama game wins the Heisman.

Somewhat agree.

If Ingram has a good game against Florida and Bama wins he locks up the Heisman.

If Florida wins but Texas also wins in their Conf. game then McCoy will get the Heisman over Tebow.

That's how I see it playing out. A great story line is a tradition rich Bama program finally getting back to the championship game while getting their 1st ever Heisman trophy winner.

Hard to look at the statistics in some of the games this past weekend, look at the teams that were beaten, are they even in the NCAA?

It's Tebow whether any of us like it or not. The Heisman has become kind of a joke the last 5-6 years, it doesn't always go to who it should.

I mean you have a QB at Houston that is putting up mind blowing number but people claim it's the system. But then Tebow can have a good but not great season--and his team is undefeated--but he's the man...you want to talk about a system? LOL, I give Tebow his props, he's a great player--but not too many guys play in as much of a system as he does. Meyer has built an offense around him that is really hard to stop because they utilize everyone. I won't take anything away from Tebow, I'm not a huge fan but I'm not stupid enough to not realize that he is one of the best college football players ever--and there is an argument that can be made for him being the best ever. And that will only get stronger if they win it all again this year--but all that considered, the Heisman isn't a career achievment award and he shouldn't win it this year. He really shouldn't even be in the conversation.
