LeBron has the athletic ability to do things that no one else in the league has done. He doesn't have the competitive nature, focus, and leadership that the greatest players in the game have had.

LeBron is the best player in the world, and will be for the next 5-7 years.

I'd say that if I had to pick a team I rooted for in the past it was the Suns because of their uptempo style. Now I would say I even more of a casual fan since Kerr tore them apart. I'm leaning towards the Knicks now.

Casual fan or not, this is too easy.

This I agree with totally. Athletically, I don't think any player that has played the game could match up with Lebron. However, it takes more than athleticism to win and be a champion, it takes determination and moxy. LJ lacks in these 2 categories. Everything has always come so easy to him in life (high school athletics). When it comes to the nitty gritty, if it isn't a cakewalk for LJ he shuts down (Celtics series this year).

This is why he is going to Miami, it is the easy way out. I will now root against LJ ever winning a title for the fact that he took the easy way out.

We all found out this past year that LeBron doesn't have the mental fortitude or the right people around him to truly become the greatest.

He is the best talent in the NBA, hands down..

But like I said on another thread, the best talent doesn't = the best player... Kobe is the best player. He's got the killer instinct, he's got the desire to do whatever it takes to win a game..

KD will be the best in a couple years.

I looked for the old Lebron-Kobe debates, but they must have been deleted or something. They're gone. Bummer

Lebron is the most athletic, not the most talented/best player in the NBA
