Nice thought for NY but I won't believe it until I see it. They have been known to be wrong in the past about this sort of thing

According to a person who spoke with wedding attendee Amar'e Stoudemire, Paul made the reference during a speech of a potential union of himself, Stoudemire and Anthony, saying, "We'll form our own Big 3," Paul allegedly said.
A Paul/Stoudamire/Anthony big 3 would give Miami's all it wants.

I don't doubt for one second those 3 want to play together, for the same reason Bosh/Wade/James wanted to.

At this point if you want to win titles you are almost forced to form a super team to deal with the Lakers, Heat, Celtics, Magic.

Why would Melo or Paul resign with their teams so they can get rolled over the next few years by themselves. They see the writing on the wall, and if the Knicks can clear the cap room there is not a better place in the world to join up than NY if you're going to do it.

I actually think this trio would be better than the one in Miami. Carmelo is used to playing with other players who can score and create, as where Wade and Lebron have always been asked to do everything. Chris Paul isn't a selfish player and would be able to setup Carmelo and get Stoudemire easy looks. I personally would love for this to happen! The NBA would basically become a 4-5 team league in regards to championship contendors along with Oklahoma City, the Lakers and probably Orlando.

I agree with this. These players would compliment each other. I think Miami's three might find the lane clogged as Bosh plays around the basket and with LBJ and DWade neither being strong long range shooters. With LBJ and DWade both used to handling the ball and driving to the hoop they may have to adjust their game more than if Melo, CP3, and A'mare got together.

I'll believe this when I see at least one of the other two commit to the Knicks. Being a Knicks fan obviously makes me really want this to happen but I just can't get my hopes up yet...

I'm not so sure. While I think the player compliment each other better than the one in Miami, I don't think they are as talented, especially Amare. That said it would be crazy having these superteams go at it year in and year out.
