Even after (possibly) getting swept in a 4 game series the Reds are still in 1st place. The Phillies are still in 3rd.

The Reds also have Volquez and Chapman still to make their appearances. The Reds are going to be in this thing the whole season.

I don't like their chances, but if they could have got Cliff Lee.....I was really hoping he would end up there.

I hope so because I really can't stand the Cards.......I would like to see Cincy when the Central....But you know when it comes to late September the Phillies will be right there....

They also showed today on ESPN that the Reds play one of (if not the) the easiest second half schedules today... only 20-some games against teams currently over .500. Even Dusty and company will have trouble fucking that one up.

I felt like I got kicked in the nuts when Lee went to Texas. I still think adding Volquez and Chapman will make the team much stronger. Also, the rookies have been pitching ridiculously well.
