Need some suggestions on classic rock bands/songs. I'm totally blanking out on music right now. But need some for my road trip cross country in a few weeks.

Rush would be at the top of my list, but the old stuff from the 70s. Bob Seger would be right up there as well. Invest in XM radio, they have several good classic rock channels.

The Cars and Boston were always good road jams. I'd get satellite radio for a long trip.

I've had Sirius for years until like a week ago when my unit just bricked itself. It went through an update and wouldn't go past that. I called them but they won't replace it. And honestly I'm gonna be out to sea a lot the next year so having it really wouldn't benefit me. Tho I will miss Howard Stern bad.

Where ya headed Ytown ? I did two Med cruises when I was in the USMC. You can pick up a lot of radio stations if you can get up high on your ship.

I'm heading to San Diego after I finish school in Norfolk, Va. My ship is scheduled for deployment July 2011 and will be doing a ton of work ups till then.

You know damn well that's not classic rock. Why not throw in some Pantera and maybe some JS Bach??? Those aren't classic rock either.....darbypitcher22;420363 wrote:KISS

A good song, though I know nothing of the actual band other than this one sone, is Frankenstain by the Edgar Winter Band. GOAT sans-lyrics song.

Who defines what is classic rock and what isn't? All of those bands are classic bands to me

darby - those may be classic to you, but to everyone else its considered glam/hair/pop metal.
these guys may not be true classic rock, but they sure sound like it.

Go slap yourself. Wake up young jedi wannabe. You are the last person who has any credible response to any post on here... You are as credible as stain in a pair of underware. Oops... I said/did something stupid.
