According to Michael Beasley's dad his son was traded because of Lebron James. He tweeted "They traded Michael Beasley cause Lebron said he looked too similar to Delonte West and he wasn't gonna have that shite no more."
Too bad Delonte didn't have the physical gift that Beasley does, because Delonte brings it. He's a very good role player, but if he had Beasley's size to go with his current skill set, LeBron may have had his Pippen (or his MJ?) long ago lol..
But then of course, Delonte wouldn't have been a Cav in the first place, so never mind about all that...

I joked before, but I said Pat Riley should have went into his sales pitch and said, "Lebron, we all know what Delonte did. Well the Cavs management don't seem to care, since he's still on the roster. And to show you how much we won't stand for that, the only guy on our team who is even remotely dumb enough to do that (although we only have 2 guys on the roster) is Beasley and as soon as you sign, consider him gone. It's something you will never have to worry about in Miami."
Still have no idea why the Cavs kept Delonte through the free agency period if that rumor is indeed true.
