Dell when that 39.99 deal was posted in mid-June
Paid $42.69 after taxes (shipping was free too) for a $60 game, and got it a day early... worked for me

EA is releasing a patch tomorrow to fix some early glitches. Can you guys help a less online savy guy out and let me know how I would go about installing the patch tomorrow when I pop in the game for the first time? Thanks.
Also, about rosters: I have used the Block-O, Gatorbait2006NC, & MZizzle2 ones for the past couple years and they do a great job. They set up shop on operationsports:

They think they will be done by Friday.

It should do it automatically. When you put it in it will prompt you that there is an update and force you to install it. (at least on the 360)
It actually did this for me today, so the patch may already be out.

Can someone help me with getting the rosters? I haven't had a system in a couple of years and I just recently bought a ps3, and I have no idea how I get the real names of the players into the game. If anyone could tell me that'd be much appreciated.

Picked up mine from Wally World about 45-50 minutes ago. Tried Gamestop on Morse first. Long line, F that...went to WalMart in and out in like 10 minutes!
First time ever buying a game the day it came out.

So I've been playing Road to Glory the last few days. Is there any point to actually doing the practices during the week? I just Sim them and rotate my evening activities. Any benefits to actually playing the practices during the week?

Picked mine up from Gamestop on campus at 12:15, I think there were 2 other people in line. I really lucked out.

Well Samantha, a quick google search would accomplish that.
Regardless, once the people making the rosters complete them (last I heard they have about 30% left from the message board) you go to download/upload rosters and type in the guys psn username.
This thread will help you out.

Just picked up my ps3 and 360 copies at sams club. Got both copies for $ 80. Got $$$ off for signing up for sams club credit.

Really? I figured Gamestops near campus would be swamped. The Gamestop across the street from WalMart near Powell was dead too. I think two cars were there? The lights were on so I'm assuming they had midnight sales too.
This is my first NCAA since '08 for PS2. Just getting a feel for the game and the controls. Looking to join someone's online dynasty eventually.

Nobody has rosters up yet unless they are absolute garbage. I'd rather wait for the good ones. The time it takes to do the rosters is absurd.

Those will end up being the most expensive games you have ever bought.

I bought NCAA 10 last year and wasn't impressed with it. Is it worth it?

It's only worth shelling out the money about every other year. I've bought every other one since 2005 and I am doing just fine.Tiger2003;422422 wrote:Every year is worth it....
Of course, I will never understand why people want a roster with names so bad, and why some loser actually takes the time to compile that either...

I like the rosters with name because when you play Dynasty your second year....the new freshman have names...and Why not get them if you can....wouldn't it suck in Madden if it didn't have there names....I sure think so....I can't do the every other year thing.....they are always making improvements to the game, and if you play online you got to get the new one so you can play people....

i've heard this year's is really much better. but i can't say for sure yet.
i'm with you though, last year's game was a huge disappointment.
on a sidenote, i bought the strategy guide (or basically had it given to me) planning on reading it in the can at about 4:30.

i've never paid for rosters, and I get them every year.
you can do it for free, so why not make the effort and do it?
