I am watching this press conference and this guy is a bum. You contrast Gilbert's reaction with with his ho-hum everything is great spiel right now and it is clear this guy is in over his head. He is clueless. He was just talking about how accountable the organization made Lebron about his behavior, and that he didn't run amok. The owner himself said completely the opposite.

I am getting aggravated just listening to him right now.

Gilbert is too loyal and has too high of family values to fire Grant, without at least discussing things with him.

I think he is just trying to stay positive until he figures out what the hell to do. Bad timing on taking the GM job.

I love Gilbert, but what was he thinking promoting another GM with no experience.

If Gilbert had his way, we would have another rookie head coach (Izzo) to pair with a rookie GM at the time they were trying to keep the team star. Five years ago the same thing and teamed a rookie head coach with a rookie GM.

Is he allergic to people with accomplished track records? They ended up with Scott thankfully when the Izzo thing blew up, but why not bring in an experienced GM who has shown he can handle the job. Chris Grant just looks so overwhelmed and woefully unprepared for this job when you watch/listen to him.

I thought for sure he was going to just be the interim coach, I was shocked to hear he was given the job full time.

What I didnt like was when one of the members of the media(maybe Roda) asked him if they had a back-up plan if LeBron left. He said they were working 100% on trying to get LeBron to come back.

Fail.
