He is their All-Time leading scorer but they better hurry before they are all gone.

This is actually a really interesting question. Sadly, I say no. But no one deserves it more.

C'mon now even Larry Nance's jersey is hanging in the rafters. How many other chances will the Cavs get to retire a jersey? They have to do it.
Maybe they could hang a burnt jersey and a good jersey to show both emotions?

not a chance..what has he won? you retire numbers for championships,or years of loyal service (see Billy Williams,Dan Marino, etc.)

Larry Nance played 6.5 seasons for the Cavs
Brad Daugherty played 7.5 seasons
Mark Price played 8.5 seasons

Lebron played 7 loyal seasons with the Cavs.

Your letting your emotions get the best of you.

I think while there is still hard feelings in Cleveland then the team won't retire his jersey. If they did I think that would show a serious disconnect between the organization and its fans. Right now he is public enemy #1 in Ohio and as shown with Dan Gilbert's letter the team will take this mindset as well. Maybe the next owner or 10-15 yrs down the road if we have a couple post-LBJ titles then all can be forgiven but until then, no way.
