If they could land Bogut and Chris Paul, then they'd have a nice team.

This is the NBA, where Titans go at it. Blame the Lakers and Celtics, they put pressure on teams to create a beast bigger than theirs.

There is no doubt in my mind CP3 will join them in a couple of years.. They all made a pact.

jpake, MJ never joined a super team and he won 6.

LBJ will never touch MJ now. Point blank. Hell, he won't even touch Kobe now..

Also, I'm not going to blame LA or Boston.. I will blame David Stern. The NBA is VERY shady and this further proves it.

No MJ never did, but he never had to take the title away from Fisher, Kobe, Artest, Gasol, Bynum, and Odom. It was either team up with another stud, but know you'll probably fall short playing against those guys. Like he said, he wasn't willing to be 31 without a ring, and I don't blame him.

You must be too young to remember the bad boys.

I remember them, they just aren't on the Lakers block IMO.

Mike Miller is a HUGE get! Exactly the type of player they needed.

How can the lakers payroll be at $81 million right now before they signed Steve Blake and the Heat are trying to stay under $58 million? I know the lakers will have to pay the luxury tax but can't the heat do the same?
