And Phillips with HR, double, 2 RBI(foul screen robbed him of 3), and good defensive play.

Tomorrow night starts the effort at the third leg, a 3rd series win on the road. Each one gets tougher. First winning a four game series in Chicago, then in 100+F hot NY against the Mets who were 28-12, and now to a team that was in the World Series the last two years where they need to win 3 games to take the series. The temps in Philly will be a bit lower than in NY. Going 2-2 in Philly would still give the Reds a 51-39 record at the break and a very good 7-4 trip.

I would be 100% content with a split in Philly.

But honestly, I think we win 3 of 4. With the only loss coming to Halladay.

How weak can the Central be? I'm not saying the Reds are weak, but wow.

The Rockies are starting Ubaldo Jimenez tomorrow!!! They must have moved him up because as of earlier today, he wasn't listed as the starter. The Rockies may sweep the Cards....

Gotta remember, even though it's Ubaldo going, the Cards are throwing Carpenter in a dire situation. Both have been knocked around badly lately so it should be an interesting contest.
