Holding the announcement on a "neutral court" so to speak makes sense as there is no way he holds a gathering in Akron for any reason other than to announce he is coming back. It would be like a dead give away. He is coming back, but he is also trying to add some suspense to his program.

Guy loves himself to much so he has to be on a primetime press conference to say where he is going. No one else in sports does crap like this. This is him trying to recreate what it would have been like had he been required to go to college and chosse somewhere to play for a year.
