I bet the RCF is just going nuts right now, they are probably banning people left and right over there.

I really think they will have to scrap most of the team and just start rebuilding, Jamisons fat contract is going to hurt with him being older and closer to the end of his career, anthony parker is in the same boat. Its time to see how good JJ can be without Lebron around and same goes for Mo and all the open looks he was able to get. This team needs so much help right now, the Cavs have sacrificed so much of the future for the last 2 to 3 years and will take a long time to dig out of the hole.

Multiple police cars are protecting the witness billboard in downtown CLE.
From Windy's Twitter.

No one celebrates disappointment better than Cleveland fans.

This is all on LeBron, the Cavs made the deal for Bosh, but he turned his back.

I don't care. You have to do something. The team is garbage without Lebron, you can't sit on your hands. If you can't Bosh, look elsewhere.

So, the Cleveland fans are so noble for "only" caring about a championship and hoping that LeBron is the guy who will bring that to them. They can ride his coattails and that is called making him "their son"? Then, they turn on him when he goes somewhere else to try and win that championship THAT EVERYONE WANTS, but he's the dick?

Lebron's message to The Boy's and Girl's Club... Winning championships means everything family and loyalty mean nothing.

LeChump . . . if you gave a crap, you'd have exited gracefully and not have rejected your city in such dramatic and heart-wrenching manner. You obviously had the right to go anywhere, but it's too bad you couldn't leave with any class. Punk!

And to not have the guts or maturity to call the owner, Gilbert, to give him a heads-up or to say thank you . . . well that makes you even worse. Hell, you looked you like you weren't even trying in Game 5, and at this point how do we even know you were . . . you wanted to play with your boys all along and winning a title with Cleveland this year certainly would have made your move impossible to explain.

Great talent . . . . but an even greater jackass.

I was on the phone with a close friend and we were talking about his "I did a lot for them" comments. Total fucking bullshit. As fans of a big-time rival, I think we both know that the ONLY thing those fans he was being patronizing to want or care about is a championship for their city. He was their "son" and turned his back on them for a perceived easier path to his own championship.

And the scary thing is that if Miami would win it all next year, I can visualize him saying that his trophy and/or Finals MVP is for his NE Ohio people. Which I'm sure would really go over well there.

I really didn't see a guy who thought much about Cleveland. I think he has love for Akron but really didn't have much care whether he ripped the hearts out of the Cleveland people.

And that's disturbing even if you don't like Cleveland sports because just look at the way the fans rallied around him and bought into this quest to be a champion.

Yeah, his what he said (reading between the lines) was pretty much saying that he cares about the opinions of his inner circle, but everyone else is a cheering ticket number. Can't remember how he phrased it exactly, but it was along the lines of, "I understand they might have mixed reactions..." followed by something about how he knows his friends/people will be behind him." I genuinely got the idea he doesn't care about any fanbase as anything else but faceless cheering people WITNESSing him achieve things.

It's not that he left. It was his God given right to go wherever the hell he wanted to go. But to me, he knew all along that he was going to go to Miami. When Bosh said he wouldn't play in Cleveland, I think he knew then that LeBron wasn't coming back. He could've announced this sooner. As a player, I hope he does go and win multiple championships and wish him the best. It'd be a real shame to see a talent like that never win a championship whether it was in Cleveland or Miami. As a person, he's classless and a coward. Nothing about this process has been about class. He's a coward because he couldn't even pick up the phone, even if it was a couple minutes before he announced like he did for Miami, and call Cleveland - who undoubtedly bought into everything LeBron James was - and say, thank you but I'm moving on. That's complete disrespect towards people who you have called family, people that bent over backwards to do the best they could to make you happy and stay at home. Cleveland is criticized for not making a move to keep him, but I think his mind was made up when the final buzzer went off after game five against the Celtics. It's a shame, a real shame, that he did it this way.

Maybe I heard this wrong, but didn't LeBron try to convince Bosh to come to Cleveland? My understanding was that Bosh didn't want to be in Cleveland, so once LeBron realized he wouldn't be getting any help, he decided to go elsewhere. I've seen several people mention that Bosh didn't want to go to Cleveland because he knew LeBron was leaving, but I didn't take it that way. Anyone know how it went?

Exactly. Cleveland fans can't see the truth. Cleveland is NOT a desirable place to play. Not even for their "Chosen One".
