Well, if the Cavs dump Delonte they will have $13 million of cap space.

Not that it will matter, because people are going to run from this city like a nuclear bomb went off and their is radioactive fallout everywhere.

Who, other than Shaq, has had to leave to win a title? I honestly dont know. This is going to severely tarnish his legacy. He HAD the chance to be the greatest ever still in Cleveland. Now he wont ever even be the greatest player in Heat history. Wade has it on lock. He probably wont be one of the top 5 greats (like Marino isnt in a lot of eyes).
Having to join Wade and Bosh after failing miserably in Cleveland is really, really bad on LeBrons part.


NOTE: This is from the eyes of the media and the fans. He clearly didnt give a fuck about that stuff and just wanted to win (and in a much easier fashion).

Wow. I am still in shock. Can't believe he left Cleveland. I feel bad for Cavs fans, I actually do. The Cavaliers will look a lot like the Wizards of the past few seasons next year. Jamison being one of the better players and a shoot first PG being the 2nd best scorer. 20 wins seems like something to aim for

I realize some people don't want to be unclassy and say "kill LeBron" or "burn his house down," but I'd also say it's kind of lame to act like this dude brought Cleveland seven good years and everyone should just be thankful for that.

Just a few months ago the theme was "All Together." That meant LeBron, his teammates, the fans, everybody was chasing this huge goal to finally win a championship. And then came Game 5 with the series hanging in the balance and the best player in the world played like garbage. That's building up everyone's expectations and then not showing up when it's primetime. Not greatness. Not a special longlasting moment. Certainly not Mazeroski winning Game 7 of the World Series on a home run and being a hero forever. That's what everyone waited for from the moment LeBron was drafted. Cleveland being on top, finally. LeBron hugging the trophy. Not just being relevant for a few years.

Hey, give LeBron credit!

He realized that creating his own dynasty in Cleveland was a tough task that might be beyond him, so he found another elite player to go to in order to be a big piece of that guy's puzzle. Because who really wants to be a BIG-TIME SUPERSTAR when you can just be one of three cogs in the wheel?

LeChump . . . if you gave a crap, you'd have exited gracefully and not have rejected your city in such dramatic and heart-wrenching manner. You obviously had the right to go anywhere, but it's too bad you couldn't leave with any class. Punk!

And to not have the guts or maturity to call the owner, Gilbert, to give him a heads-up or to say thank you . . . well that makes you even worse. Hell, you looked you like you weren't even trying in Game 5, and at this point how do we even know you were . . . you wanted to play with your boys all along and winning a title with Cleveland this year certainly would have made your move impossible to explain.

Great talent . . . . but an even greater jackass.

Oscar Robertson. Nate Archibald. Elvin Hayes. Clyde Drexler. Jerry Lucas. Moses Malone. Earl Monroe. Robert Parish. Wilt Chamberlin. Just to name a few Hall of Famers and Top 50 of All Time.

Won't tarnish LeBron's legacy at all. If Kareem had stayed in Milwaukee and never won another title, would he be in the conversation of greatest of all time?

And that opinion on Marino is because he NEVER did win a title. If he had gone somewhere else and won a title, he'd no longer have that stigma.

He had a deal in place for Bosh, but LeBron told him that he would not be here so he rejected the trade.
This is all on LeBron, the Cavs made the deal for Bosh, but he turned his back.

Yeah. The same people who have defended LeBron for the last five years by saying, "he needs some talent around him", are now saying he's a total dick FOR GETTING SOME TALENT AROUND HIM.

I was on the phone with a close friend and we were talking about his "I did a lot for them" comments. Total fucking bullshit. As fans of a big-time rival, I think we both know that the ONLY thing those fans he was being patronizing to want or care about is a championship for their city. He was their "son" and turned his back on them for a perceived easier path to his own championship.

And the scary thing is that if Miami would win it all next year, I can visualize him saying that his trophy and/or Finals MVP is for his NE Ohio people. Which I'm sure would really go over well there.
