Agreed about the food being different and good. I only spent a week and a half down there in 2003, it's like night and day.

The only place you're going to find tacos and shit like we eat here are "Americanized" places. When we got out of the big cities and went to places it was completely different (it was with a tour so much of the trip left the cities and covered cultural stuff, spending a night in Taxco between Mexico City and Acapulco was fun), and it was fucking good too.

So what is the difference between the food Mexican restaurants in the U.S. make and the real deal?

The last time I ate Mexican, I puked on the way home. Felt sick right after eating, and had to pull over and chuck. Stay AWAY from this place...
