Good thing after Nix left the bases loaded.....

Has anyone noticed the top of our lineup tonite? Brantley and Nix! They are hitting .335 (if you add their BAs together). I know the team's banged up, but that just looks ridiculous.

who just missed making a great play

Bottom line...he didn't make it, and he left his first baseman hanging out to dry. I'll tell you the same thing I tell my High School players....at this level 'nice try' doesn't cut it. You either made the play or you didn't.Effort without execution is meaningless. Effort is appreciated, but you have to get better and make the play. And Jason Donald has to get a lot better. He is an absolute butcher in the field. Defensively, he is not a major leaguer. Offensively, he is barely holding his own. There is only one reason he is playing, and that's because we have no one else.

That Hamilton call was a little off. But the Cruz K looked legit. Although I changed the channel before the replay.

I can't believe that Acta yanked Laffey. I don't like it. This Kinser fellow (not sure on the spelling), Tom Hamilton said that last year he hit for the cycle and was 6-6 the first player to do that in a 9 inning game in MLB history. And I also like what Hammy had to say about this Herman dude...."He comes in and throws strikes, no nibbling". I like it.

Hits, you know I like to tweak you, and you deserve it on this one. Donald hasn't had a good year in the dirt, but to criticize him for that play is picking some serious nits. He made a tremendous play and one-hopped a throw to the first baseman. Those guys pick those balls 90% of the time but it took a funny hop and LaPorta jerked himself backward - no way did Donald 'hang him out to dry'.

Pitch to Hamilton was close to a strike...the next one hooked around the plate...not even close.....3 or 4 inches off the plate at least.

If that had only been the first or second time I'd be more forgiving. But the guy does it a lot.

Indians can't afford to brawl....half the team should be at Columbus as it is. they lose any more players, they'll be drawing from Akr( note: I'm exaggerating)

Laporta is a butcher with the glove 99% of those playing first base in the show picks that ball.
