Other cities may call their fireworks the same thing, but when you say Red, White, and Boom everyone should know that you're talking about the fireworks in Columbus.

There's no way that Oak Harbor's fireworks display is better than Red, White, and Boom. Boom is the largest fireworks display in the Midwest, usually about 25 minutes long set to a sound track. There are few, if any, fireworks displays in the country better than Boom, and I've been to Cincinnati, Dallas, Washington, DC, and a few other places for fireworks on the 4th.
As far as the question at hand, my family always used to go down to Vets Memorial. Close to all of the action but tough to get out after it's done.
