Fine, but bullying happens to all types of kids, just as stated above. Fat kids, kids with glasses, etc. Those kids didn't decide to be fat or have bad eyes. Should we have a separate "training" for not bullying fat kids, separate for not bullying kids with glasses?
Or, as I stated above, can we just have one for bullying in general. As usual, FWK wants special treatment for homosexuals, notg equal treatment.

you will never stop bullying. the problem is kids these days dont have the social skills to deal with it. they'll just hide behind facebook or something instead of confronting the problem. school yard fights used to be a like a right of passage.
Exactly!! The bible is clear on homosexuals and it is high time the bible is followed in this Christian country."If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

I am not allowed to judge you on your ideals, you are entitled to them. God will be the ulitimate judge in the end for those that allow his law to go unnoticed. I hope you repent and ask God for guidence into the truth of his word. True Christianity is not popular unfortunately just a watered down liberal version. There is that liberal word again, can liberals do anything right?

Are you saying that Christianity is based on Leviticus?
What?

Christianity is based on the Holy bible, Leviticus is in the Holy bible. As long as you do not read a watered down liberal version.

I think we misunderstood each other. I thought you objected to gay bullying being taught as bad in schools and you thought I meant they should have a specific segment or class on the specific type of bullying. I'm fine if they do it all under one "don't be a bully" class or lecture or assembly or whatever they do. I just think that saying "don't be a dick just because someone is gay/bi/straight" is a good thing along with the usual "don't be an asshole just because someone is fat, nerdy, poor, etc".jmog;516538 wrote:Fine, but bullying happens to all types of kids, just as stated above. Only a moron doesn't know that Leviticus was the Jewish leaders created laws for their land, not what God had to say about the situations.Zombaypirate;516543 wrote:Exactly!! Bullying is and always has been something that has occurred since the days Eve bullied Adam into biting the apple (wink). As others have posted, it doesn't matter if you are gay, straight, black, white, fat, skinny, tall or short. I do think the response by the bullied is completely different than ever before. I think this is something that needs to be looked at and dealt with, not some natinal campaign of actors/political activits, etc. doing a 30 second TV add appealing to the youth by saying something cheesy like "Stop the Bullying" or what have you.
There have been a number of suicides by people in all walks of life. Up in Mentor I've seen where the school has had 4 suicides directly linked to bullying in the past year. There have also been a number in SWO in the Sycamore school district and I am sure they are happening elsewhere. The root cause needs to be investigated. Is the bullying any worse or are there other dynamics involved leading to the youth of today to taking such harsh measures in response.

DA had it right on the bullying. This is on thing the schools should have ZERO tolerence on. But the schools will have a tough time getting support from the parents as they themselves probably grew up with and support this behavior.
Especially as it relates to the Homo's

Yeah, that's something that has bugged me. The trend of zero tolerance policies. They obviously don't work and only create kids with bad reputations. Much better ways of dealing with almost any situation than expelling the kid.

Haha, not exactly what I was thinking. But I never understand why people in positions to do something about things like this never say "hey, this is obviously not effective. Why don't we try something else?".

Getting back to gay issues, a federal judge has ordered the military to stop enforcing "don't ask, don't tell." The Justice Department may appeal.

As a gay man, I'm not entirely happy with this. I would prefer that the act be voided by the Congress, not by the courts. I have to assume this will be appealed all the way to the Supreme Court.

Let's discuss this on the football forum.
