I was in the Riveria Maya...it was awesome. Make sure you go to Xcaret!

No, entry into the water is covered in rocks and from what I understand there is alot of coral after you get past the rocks too.
Everyone seems to like the resort, but the #1 knock on it is the ocean in front.






I'm sure there are some places you can get right in, but may just need to find those areas.

Gotcha. I don't think that would bug us too much. Neither one of us are really big on actually getting in the ocean. My wife likes lay out out on the beach but would rather get in the pool than the ocean.

Screw Cancun check out the Four Seasons Punta Mita. We got to stay a week for free last month in a penthouse thanks to an awesome boss and I'll i can say is nothing can compare but i think it ran about 7000$ a night.

We just got back from the Riviera Maya area last week. We stayed at the Grand Palladium. Very Nice!
