I don't see how it is unrealistic to think he could be worth more than a biliion I mean we know he has earned $100 million a year for most of last decade, and if he had some top flight people investing for him with that kind of nut to work with it is entirely reasonable to think he could have done really well for himself.

He definitely has to have some unreal skeletons in the closet because he for surely had the best attorneys money could buy, and to give up that much in a divorce means that whatever she had to say would have been a financial death knell to him. Otherwise he would have just lived the fallout of her tell all and kept his $750 million and given her whatever the pre-nup aloted for.

I will also be shocked if Tiger ever gets married again after this experience. It's just not worth it to him.

Im not excusing Tiger's behavior, because what he did was wrong, but $750 million? and take his kids away from him (well, basically?) how much money do you need to live on?

I think Tiger had sex with a lion and then slapped it really hard. This would've smashed his image and especially his tiger cub driver cover. He's a tiger, not a lion.

According to ESPN and Hank Haney in separate occasions, Tiger has willingly and fully disclosed his relationship to that Galea fellow, and is pretty much off the hook in that investigation.

I don't understand the Roids argument. The guy isn't huge ripped like bonds was. But even still, he is hitting the ball much shorter than he used to; big muscles aren't very beneficial in golf. Those that say that must have never played. Often the skinny guys are the ones bombing it--look at Dustin Johnson.

It has more to do with the injuries has has had/recovered from/played through, imo.

Tiger most certainly just bowed out in this. Sounds like he just agreed to all of her stipulations Even if he is a lying, cheating, sack of manure, he could have really fought a lot of this and gotten some more concessions to work his way and possibly negotiated a better settlement (even with a boatload of more $$$ than originally thought). This tells me he is most certainly did not want something to come out, which in my mind is the PED's issue. As someone else pointed out if it came out Tiger was on the juice he is done.

Well it appears that yesterday's story was false and he's not even worth the 750 million that was being thrown out. I am not sure why news sources keeping citing The Sun as their main source since it is basically a tabloid.

I don't think it was a question of Tiger worth anything now, he's still a golfer and presumably will make more money going forward. If child support is a part of the deal, it will likely involve future earnings.

This is the only time I'll agree that she should get half. Tiger screwed around so much and she has dealt with a lot of public embarrassment, so half seems right to me. If he filed for divorce before he started cheating then no I would not agree that half is ok.
