Yesterday, BRF gave a post card size copy of this picture (Win One for the Gipper!) along with a little note of encouragement to each of his student football players (19 juniors and seniors). I wanted to share it with all of you because this is US!

5k--Is Nebraska's coach a raving lunatic or does he just play one on TV? It would be tough to watch my kid getting hated on like Pelini did last night to his QB on national TV.

Yeah, that really upset the Mrs. last night. Martinez must have said or did something taboo because he offered no response. My only guess was that Martinez was playing to the TV crowd a little bit because he trots off under his own power then stops right in front of the sideline and lays down on the field? What was up with that? I am gonna try and find out about that.

Well, very fun...long season. I liked that part. One of you Chatter skill guys needs to start a 2011 thread. Gotta like the outlook for 2011. Solid corps pf LBs and DBs back and the way Trevor White came on this year he will surely be an anchor in the muddle of the D line. Kyle L returns to an offense that has most of the skill back but needs to reload that O-line. The off season will be important for him to hit the weight room in a serious way....he won't be alone there, everyone back should be hungry. I am anxious to see Stu Turner after a solid off season program. Heck I am anxious to see a lot of these guys after a solid off season program. Davis and Monheim will be absolute beasts next year....these two guys have one focus from now til then.

Here's a stat that I just thought of: we had a better win percentage in the post-season than we did in the regular season!

I continue to be amazed at the number of octogenerian Red Rider fans that come to the games, in spite of the weather!

Congrats on a great season Red Riders! Tough to lose at this point, but there is a lot to be proud of. See you next year hopefully! ( Maybe the third time's the charm! )

Great season Red Riders, proud of all you guys! I enjoyed the whole ride even if we come up a little short, I hope that translates into even more dedication for next years team to get to the next round and win a championship. Go RED!
