Didn't you ever hear about this around the time it happened? He didn't pay for sex. He paid $300 to a girl that he didn't have sex with and she said that they did so her pimp wouldn't beat her up again.

Uh huh, right. You don't get indicted by a Grand Jury without some proof there was a crime.

Not true, at least in cases of sexual assault. Cases can and have been tried on the word of the alleged victim alone, though you probably still need an admission of consensual sex from the accused without physical evidence. Although if LT denied having sex and is being charged with rape I assume they have some DNA. The prostitution thing is pretty much a slam dunk because I think he admitted to that.

Burden of proof is in the Petit Jury.


You don't technically need any proof to be indicted.

From what the guy on ESPN is saying right now, the fact that the girl was underage and he didn't know that is pretty much irrelivant.

Basically from what I'm gathering, he's fucked.

Correct. Which I honestly think is a bullshit law. A girl can look like she is 25 and lie to you to your face that she is 25, but if she turns out to be underage, you're fucked. Just as an example.
