That one looks awesome. I just set the DVR to record it.

Right now, I think the "June 17th, 1994" 30 for 30 is my favorite one so far. I really liked how they just used the news clips and no narration or voice over.

But this one looks like it could be way better.

The 30 for 30 series has been very good. This one looks to be one of the better efforts.

Not sure why you would even return back to your country with a mess like that.
Get your family out of there and move to Europe to play there.

in short, escobar 1 tried to clear a cross that came through the middle, and he kicked it into his own goal. A day or two later he was found murdered

Nah, he scored an own goal against the U.S. in '94 and they ended up losing 2-1 to be eliminated.

You also have the added awesomeness of John Harkes being in the booth for ESPN this World Cup and he was the guy who crossed the ball, which was then kicked into the net by Escobar.

What a powerful documentary. Bravo to ESPN for 30 for 30. I haven't been disappointed or not entertained by one doc, and I've seen all but three I believe.

As for this one, it really shows how crazy the game of soccer is to the rest of the world. An amazingly deep story that went so far beyond sports. We think it's all a game, but it's really more than that on so many levels.

I dvr'd it and am gonna start it now. I'm definitely not the biggest soccer fan in the world but have been looking forward to this. The 30 for 30 series has been the best thing ESPN has done in a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.

That was amazing. Good to show America the way the rest of the world treats the World Cup and the sport of soccer.

OT, but I am still amazed that the US has had the highest attendance since 1950 and did not have a pro league until 2 years after the WC.
