Aaron Laffey most likely will be called back up on Tuesday even though he has been not so good in Columbus.

yo-yo'ing back and forth with another mediocre pitcher---it's a pathetic vicious cycle

Off topic and it may have been mentioned on previous threads but this morning on Mike & Mike, Buster Olney ("you'll get no baloney") said to expect the Mets to come hard after Westbrook or, more likely, Carmona before the trade deadline if they can't land Cliff Lee.

About damn time. But Laffey certainly hasnt done a damn thing to warrant a promotion. No one has really. We should go for a 4 man rotation lol.

David Huff made a lot of money over the past year and a half throwing moon balls down the middle of the plate. If he were smart, he'd find a good investment counselor and head back to college. People will soon forget his lifetime 6.00 ERA. Even his grand kids some day.

There's a lot more wrong with this team than David Huff. Laffey has proven he can compete in the Big leagues....bring him up.

Hopefully Carrasco pans out for them. That Cliff Lee trade looks worse and worse with each passing day. So far Lou Marson and Jason Donald haven't given them much return on inverstment

Huff was getting to be very painful to watch. I was in attendance for one of his wins and even then he was very erratic. I'd like to see Carrasco up again but wouldn't be mad about Laffey either.

Never cared much for David Huff.
As for the Mets, I don't think there is ANY WAY the Tribe trades Fausto, not with his current production and his team friendly contract. That would completely kill the fan base imo.
Jake Westbrook, well, I'd help pack his bags if it meant getting something for him.

Hopefully he can turn it around, but the tribe has had trouble developing pitchers that they draft with the exception of Sabathia.

Because he's the one sending people down and calling people up?

Good to see burt07 make a post here. He's one of the old staunch Tribe fans. On another note, what can we do about that parasite, AC?

Yeah, it isn't Acta's fault....he can only deal with the hand he is dealt. I wasn't a "Butt" Wedge hater either....in baseball, I think managers have very little to do with the outcome of a season.

No one expects the tribe to win. Acta should be judged on whether or not he is getting the team to play to its best.

And my opinion is that he is not. He gives them 0 oppurtunity to win games when letting your starter go 6+ innings and giving up 7-8 runs and 12 hits. That is plain nonsense. He does not know how to play strategy or give your team a chance to win. Once a bum always a bum. Stupid hire by the FO.
