Nike asked Lebron not to announce until the 8th because his decision would "overshadow" their/his camp

That would almost lead you to believe that he's leaving, because his staying in Cleveland would not overshadow a camp 20 minutes away

Lol, are you serious? Gibby, please for the love of god stick to college football/the Denver Broncos...

I read a quote over on a Knick forum....Walsh-"We didn't get into it in our first meeting the way we wanted to," Walsh said. "We just wanted to make sure they had all the information."

This tells me that the 1st meeting went very poorly and they were looking for redemption with the 2nd meeting...even if Lebron wasn't there.

I love how Amare is supposed to "reach out to Lebron" as in, getting him to come to NY. Hello, DUMBASS, you're Amare Freakin' Stoudemire. You don't have THAT much stroke. Lebron is the one who will reach out to YOU if he's interested.

From Ric Bucher:

"@RicBucher For those saying Chi can S&T for 1 and sign other outright: forget it. Neither Bosh nor Wade is taking less than 6 yr, $120m. Nor wd you."

Amare Freakin's Stoudemire is an elite player in the NBA. All he has to say is, "Lebron, you can have me running the court with you and playing screen and roll; or you can have that floppy haired guy, the guy with the supposed potential or Jamison. You make the call. And yea, if your boys would have made the trade for me last year, we would both have rings right now."

And I'm not saying that to criticize the Cavs guys, but if I'm Amare and I'm making a pitch, that's exactly what I say.

LOL, NO.

First of all, the Knicks just gave Amar'e 20 million. They can't give lebron the max, how else are they going to fill the roster? Sorry, Lebron and Amar'e alone do not win a title.

I think this is Plan B for the Knicks. They have moved past Lebron and are looking at doing something else. Other than New Yorkers, the consensus is that it is down to the Cavs, Bulls, and Nets.

The Knicks might not be able to do something this offseason, but Curry is an expiring so he will have some value and then next summer they can go after Paul or Carmelo.

Not sure if they have the assets, but Melo might be available to them now. Nuggets said they want an extension now or they will be listening.

Knicks don't have the assets now to deal for anyone. All they have is Curry and he is due $10 million and is an expiring. Denver obviously doesn't want to just trade Melo for Curry for a year.

I think the Cavs will be going after Paul next season. You can spin it any way you want to, but Amar'e isn't worth 20 million a year unless you have other pieces already under contract. Lebron isn't going to sign with the Knicks, not to wait another year until they can unload Curry. That roster just isn't going to get it done, point blank.

Lol, from Bill Simmons:

"From: @sportsguy33

What's protocol if you're friends with a Knick fan whose team got Amare uninsured for 100 mill? Congratulate or console them"

Some guy just tweeted "Lebron to re-sign with the Cavs for 1 million per year, and to bring in Bosh and Wade to Cleveland"

It's gotta be true, its on twitter.
