Bosh is a far better player than Bynum, BUT Bynum is a better fit (when healthy) for the Lakers than Bosh would be.

So I agree with you. Just wondering if it's for the same reason.

Basically for what you just said. Pau is basically a better version of Bosh, so we have no real need for him.

Not really.

before joining the Lakers, these were Gasol's averages in 12 playoff games:

20.0 PPG; 6.4 RPG; 2.7 APG; 0.7 SPG; 1.5 BPG; 1.9 TOPG; 49.0% FG; 75.8% FT

Compared to Bosh's #s in 11 playoff games:

20.5 PPG; 9.0 RPG; 3.0 APG; 1.2 SPG; 1.2 BPG; 2.3 TOPG; 43.3% FG; 83.8% FT

The only things Pau beats Bosh in is Turnovers, FG%, and Blocks.

Stats don't always show the better player though hoops. I doubt there are many in the league who would take Bosh over Gasol.

No they don't, but Bosh is 26 while Gasol is 30.

Not only that, but Bosh can do everything Pau can do, and he's a better all around scorer than Gasol.

I love Gasol's game, but his mental psyche pisses me off at times. He often times plays much softer than he should.

I'd take either on the Cavs, but if I'm building a team around LeBron and had to pick one, it'd be Bosh.

I'd easily take Bosh over Gasol.

They've also expressed interest in JJ, as have a lot of other teams. He's got a ton of potential, it's not that hard to fathom. I don't post shit just to post it. If I hear something on the radio or see it being reported, I'll post it.

They wanted Mo a few years back, so they still want him today? Mo Williams has been exposed for what he is at this point in his career and isn't going to fool anyone. I think he's a good player, but hardly the centerpiece you want in a trade for Bosh.

Expressed interest in Hickson? What does that mean? Yea, he has some potential, but what is that worth?

I'd love if the Cavs could pull off a trade involving those pieces, however I think there are many other teams who have more to offer.

A few years ago? What? Cleveland just started shopping Mo.

And Mo is what he is, a PG who will average 17 a game and shoot well from 3.

I'd take Bosh over Gasol in a heartbeat as well. I think Gasol is a bit overrated. He has some good players on the roster that make him look good. Bosh doesn't have anyone on his team like Gasol does.

I'd take Pau on my team now because I've seen him beast it up when it mattered most. I havn't seen that from Bosh. But I'm sure we will if he's lucky/smart enough to join another stud. If I'm drafting them, Bosh because he's younger. Much like Pau, Bosh would take a year or two to learn the toughness it takes to be a champion; and even then, he'd probably have WTF moments, much like Pau has now.

Well apparently Bosh doesn't want to play second fiddle to anyone.

I don't have a link but I heard it on Mike and Mike this morning. Basically he said he wasn't trying to go somewhere to team up with someone.

So stupid of him. How selfish can you be about getting "yours". He's gonna be rich either way, he may as well win a championship if he can. He should ask teammate Turkoglu if getting shown the money is better than playing for a contender

Yeah, I don't know how true those words are, but I saw the same report.

Basically saying he's not "an addition, but a centerpiece".

I just think it's funny that Bosh would say something like that(if it's true).

You've been the centerpiece for how long now and you've done nothing??

When I saw what Bosh said, I kind of don't want him in Miami. He said his dream has been to be "the man". Most guys say the NBA is their dream, or that winning a championship has been their dream. Not Bosh, being "the man" is his dream and that going anywhere to be an "addition" would defeat the purpose. I hate that shit. Excuse my language, but that's exactly how I'd expect a .......... to think. Stay in Canada, make your money, and be forgotten in 30 years.

lol, exactly.

This completely contradicts what he said before the playoffs started when he said "I've given this franchise everything I've had, but I'm at the point in my career where I want to win championships."

Now, (again if the story is true) he says this?

hmmm.

He like every other player out there, just wants the biggest check possible. And most likely that comes with being "the one player" a team goes and gets.

I just don't know why he would actually come out and say that.

I just think Bosh wants a steak plus some cake on the side. Sure he wants to be the man and get all the glory-- doesn't really matter if it's in Toronto or not, just wants to be da kniccccccca. But he also wants to win all the rings. Well Predator, you can only win rings if you realize you aren't the man and team up. I think he's one of those over confident guys that HAS to tell themselves they're the shit, but deep down, knows they couldn't sniff LBJ/Kobe/ or Wade's crabs-- if they have them.

lol, glad I'm not the only one who thinks Chris Bosh looks like predator..

In fact, there is a small army of predators in the NBA..

Chris Bosh, Marquis Daniels, and Gerald Wallace..

Here’s his latest: World Wide Wes has been pitching teams with salary-cap space that trading for New Orleans Hornets star Chris Paul(notes) will dramatically increase their chances of signing LeBron James(notes), multiple sources told Yahoo! Sports.

New Orleans general manager Jeff Bower has no intention of trading Paul, but multiple league executives believe that until owner George Shinn closes on the team’s sale with billionaire oilman Gary Chouest, there is a price with which Paul could be pried away.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Aol_MKqWVDbHxRTNeVR3ORy8vLYF?slug=aw-paulhornets062110

Thought Wes didnt talk to LeBron about Free Agency? Hmm....But anyways Portland has shown interest in Mo, and it would be nice if the Cavs FO were able to get the Blazers as a third team to pull of a deal getting us Chris Paul. It would be nice but I dont see it happening...

Teams with cap room...
Heat-Could add Paul if they lose out on Wade.
Bulls-Not with Rose there.
Knicks-Possible.
Clippers-would have to move Baron Davis.
Nets-anyone other than Lopez and the #3 have to be on the block.

I don't know how many times I have to ask this, but what pieces do the Cavs have to offer that could be used in a deal for Chris Paul? Maybe I'm just too stupid to see it, but what pieces do the Cavs have that another team would value? I understand Hickson, but even he is an average NBA player at this point.

Those guys VS Sam Cassell could make one hell of an Alien VS Predator movie.
