I guess it's just seen as overly abrasive. In some cases, if the shoe fits....

I can see already this thread definately has potential.

Sometimes it can be used out of context, but every so often you get a woman who actually fits the mold. Why not be truthful?

Agree. When a chick goes out of her way to be a mega-bitch and is just nasty (mean), THAT is where I can see the application being used.

The biggest cause of relationship problems is needless veracity.

When Brits say it, it doesn't sounds as bad.

Lesson? Feel free to say it, but do it in an Austin Powers accent. You are welcome.

You need to save one word so that when you call someone that, they really know how you feel. If you use it too much, it won't have the same effect on the special few you choose to use it on.

I used to chat online when I was playing a video game with a group of people from Australia. Their excessive usage of the word cunt baffles me even today. Often times, they would chant the word when a specific person would come online and start talking.

There are some words that are just better left unsaid. The "c" word is definitely at the top of the list. The word "dick" is obviously a reference to the male organ of that same name, but it doesn't carry such a low class connotation, plus it is also the shortened version of the name Richard. The word "prick" means being stuck with a hypodermic needle as in.."there will be a little "prick" when I put the needle in your vein", but neither of these words carry the same instant revulsion that the "c" word carries. I never really liked the word and on very rare occasions I may throw it into a conversation, but my wife knows that I do it just to give her some grief so she just asks me why I'm such a dickhead and we move on to more savory topics and terms. It has worked fairly well for us for just over 44 years. Seriously though, at the risk of sounding like a young feline, I don't like the "c" word and can understand why women don't care for it. There just isn't a more degrading and inappropriate word than the "c" word. It even sounds classless.

But, I don't use it for my own vocabulary.
