So if I'm an 18 and you are a 4 that is (14) strokes every day in my math book. And it's none of this no par 3s & 5s BS...its the 14 toughest holes, whatever they maybe. But if you are not the true zen golfer you claim to be, I guess we can excuse you from knowing these basic rules of competitive golf etiquette.
I'm 4.6 and you're 17.7. You'd get 13 strokes if we were playing for fun.
If we're playing for money you get the max strokes and thats 5 a side on par 4's only.
You'll never find a golfer who gives a stroke on a par 3 for money, and the majority won't give it on a par 5 either since it's an easy par.
If we were in a league, you'd get 13 strokes on the toughest holes yes... but not when there's money involved.
That's my rules when I play for money. Fortunately I only ever have to give 2 strokes tops with the people I play with.. and usually get 2-3.
