I'm down if Zwick's down for charity. Let's see he's always yapping about being scratch and I'm an 18...so that's a stroke a hole Zwickapotomus. Name the stakes Justin.

No No... I don't trust what people say they are. You show me a USGA Handicap and we'll talk strokes. Sandbaggers.

I believe he stated in another thread that he's hovering around a 4 index this year.

I don't golf, but I like to vote on things, so I voted for the option to vote on things. I might randomly show up with a BB gun to make the game more interesting for participants, though.

I might actually ditch the kids and all my other responsibilities to join in on this.

Either day works for me. I prefer the september date. I played in a late October outing last year at Cumberland Trail. Rained all day. Played 12 holes before we packed it in. thought we were going to drown. $100 for Longaberger is not bad at all just a little worried about the weather at that time of the year.

did a quick search..
6,328 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 . The course rating is 68.0 and it has a slope rating of 108.

It's 700 yards shorter and 22 slope rating points less than my home course. Sounds like a real tester.

You're not allowed riding your horse around on the course either.

BTW.. if we're playing for money, there's no way you're getting 13 strokes.. even if you do actually have a real USGA handicap (which I'm not confident about).. you better hit the range.
You only get 5 strokes a side (max) on par 4's. No par 3's or par 5's. If you can't hit a ball 150 yards then thats your problem.

I thought you were a true golfer Zwickmeister, and as such you would hold reverent the time honored tradition of accepting your competitors full stroke Hdcp. as established by the USGA. So if I'm an 18 and you are a 4 that is (14) strokes every day in my math book. And it's none of this no par 3s & 5s BS...its the 14 toughest holes, whatever they maybe. But if you are not the true zen golfer you claim to be, I guess we can excuse you from knowing these basic rules of competitive golf etiquette.

I'm 4.6 and you're 17.7. You'd get 13 strokes if we were playing for fun.
If we're playing for money you get the max strokes and thats 5 a side on par 4's only.
You'll never find a golfer who gives a stroke on a par 3 for money, and the majority won't give it on a par 5 either since it's an easy par.
If we were in a league, you'd get 13 strokes on the toughest holes yes... but not when there's money involved.
That's my rules when I play for money. Fortunately I only ever have to give 2 strokes tops with the people I play with.. and usually get 2-3.
