#52 for a QB number? Don't see that every day!

CF at Wooster looks like an intriguing match up. Wooster can prove they might be for real by winning that game.

Clear Fork vs Wooster IS the game of the week!! I am also interested in that Ashland/Senior game, Senior has a lot of athletes, but can't seem to keep a lead against good teams.

starting to look like 4 teams have a real strong chance at week 11 according to fantastic 50's latest projections. Ashland, Lex, Orrville, CF. Not too shabby fellas. A ton of football the next 4 weeks. How much more exciting could it get? We are fortunate in the OCC to have some great programs. Congrats to all and good luck....except Ashland this week...sorry.

3 teams is the most
09 Orrville, Ashland, Clear Fork
08 Lex
07 Lex, Ash
06 Orrville, CF, Ash
05 Orrville, CF, Madison
04 Orrville, wooster
03 Orrville. wooster, Ashland

Cool stuff guys.....

So....
5 appearances for Orrville
4 for Ashland
3 for CF
2 for Wooster
2 for Lex
1 for Madison

the two D-4 teams are responsible for almost half of the OCC playoff berths....and one of the D-4 teams wasn't in the league until 2004.

Things tend to get a little heated on here during the season, but I thinnk we can all agree that come playoff time we always root for the OCC teams. Can anyone help me with what divisions play on Friday & Saturday for the playoffs this year?

Another interesting fact is of those 17 playoff appearances, teams from the OCC have lost to 7 state champions.

Since 2003, the OCC has accomplished:
Record: 298-281
Playoff Appearances: 17
Playoff Record: 12-17
5 Regional Finals Appearances
1 State Semi-Final Appearance

Of the 17 playoff losses, 7 have come to the eventual state champion!!!

Ashland has lost to;
Avon Lake 15-0 lost 14-3 in 2003
Piqua 13-2 lost 27-0 in 2006
Anderson 13-2 lost 35-20 in 2008

Mansfield Madison has lost to;
Toledo Central Catholic 14-1 lost 31-29 in 2005

Lexington has lost to;
Sylvania Southview 15-0 lost 38-24 in 2008

Clear Fork has lost to;
Coldwater 15-0 (upset Mooney) lost 45-0 in 2005

Orrville has lost to;
Cardinal Mooney 14-0 lost 50-21 in 2006

The petitions will not be there Friday, as I may not be myself. I will however show up early for the Wooster/Orrville game and try to break the curse of the Generals not being up for that game by sacrificing a live chicken at the 50 yard line.

Who wins the Lexington/Wooster game tonight?? Wooster needs it if they want to stay in playoff contention.

Can West Holmes finally get on OCC win this year when they play Senior tonight?
