i think that solves the missouri debate. they wouldn't give up the money to keep texas if they had plans of leaving anyway.

If you're referring to my failed Thad thread, at least the information I reported literally came right from the source.

Like I've said 19082098509850932485 times to the idiots like you who can't comprehend that college kids change their mind:

COLLEGE KIDS CHANGE THEIR MIND, ESPECIALLY WHEN LOTS OF MONEY IS INVOLVED.

Hm, make sense now?

Go back to your bridge troll.

I was just pointing out the irony there, no need to get your panties in a bunch. It is alright for you to LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ at someone for being wrong but not vice versa? Who cares where you got your information, you were still wrong. For that...LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

You will NEVER ..... EHHHHHHHHHHHHHVER ..... live that down.

But in your defense, who the fuck cares. The fact you were wrong then doesn't change the truth of your statement on this thread.

There's no irony. I accepted I was wrong, and admitted it.

There would be irony if I never did that, and then point out when someone is wrong.

Dude, I don't plan on living it down haha at this point it's just funny how wrong I was. Even funnier that I made the thread about 6 hours before he said he was leaving because it was the first time I was on a comp since the Rose Bowl.

I think they just kept their options open, as there was no guarantee they would/will get an invite from the Big Ten. This way, if they don't get an invite, they're still in good standing with the Big 12, and if they do get an invite, they will recover some of that money by accepting.

I think that this new TV contract basically makes it impossible for any of these schools to leave for the next 10 years until the contract is up. I heard that the financial loss would be too great for any school to leave. My guess is that Missouri either got tired of waiting or got pissed that they were told they would get an invite then got passed up by the Big Ten in favor of other schools, so they decided they were done with the Big Ten.

FairwoodKing was right at the moment. He had links. Many of us were right and 10 minutes later we were wrong about all the back and forth changing events. The past week was wild in NCAA football.

^^^ I had the same kind of feeling when I saw it. I will believe that Utah is joining the Pac10 when they actually have the press conference.

ESPN has done some underhanded things in all this. The most damning being the claim that they were joining the PAC-10 while the network was talking behind closed doors with the Big XII teams about how much money they'd get if they stuck together. Yet, not once was any of those backroom deals ever mentioned on ESPN's "news" shows.
