What SEC school wouldn't want the opportunity to say, "We recruited and landed a talented thug"?

Past transgressions or not, if he can get into school (like any other student) and pay his way (like any other student), why wouldn't he be allowed? It's the same for any of us who applied, we could attend school and pay for it. The only difference is he is a great football player.
It would be totally different if he was being courted by schools with a scholarship and was preventing someone else from getting a shot. He isn't. There's a difference.
