Yeah, your dad is braver than me! I won't EVER go to one of these. Just jam packed full of NASCAR fans. Not there to watch the real racing..just there to see the drivers..great for charity..bad if you are just a fan of the racing and not the drivers!
They are both there tonite. I was at Talladega about 5 years ago, went to the short track across the street and was thrilled when I saw 71 year old Red Farmer on the track. He was awesome, moved up to 3rd in the A main, but contact with a car broke his tie rod and he spun out with 2 to go.
