no need to try again. It tells me all I need to know that that is the only thing you have to come back with after my argument. Something Bryant has done sparingly over his career.

Gimme a fucking break. Kobe would feel HONORED to hold Jordan's dick while he took a piss. "Best there will ever be..." I hope I don't electrocute myself spitting my water up LAUGHING on my laptop.

Adam Morrison has one of those too.
Can't believe this argument is still relevant when discussing individual players.

Yes, because that's exactly the argument I'm using.
Adam Morrison is better than LeBron James because he has a ring.

No, but rings are your only argument. Yet it only applies when it's convenient...interesting.

No, you just have to twist my argument because you don't have a logical rebuttal.

I have a completely logical rebuttal, but logic isn't part of the discussion with your side. Therefore it's pointless, not to mention the argument has been had 5,000 fucking times on here--it'll be the same argument. Might as well be R's vs. D's--no matter what, you'll never agree.
I'm not twisting your argument either, that's exactly how it is--you want to cite team awards as a way to rank individual players but only when it's convenient for your argument.

The bigger question is "why didn't the reporter who asked such a stupid fucking question get bitch slapped on the spot?" If I'm Kobe, Lebron, Wade or anyone else playing in an NBA Finals and someone asks me about another stars pending free agency I'm pulling a Jim Mora/ Allen Iverson...."Free agency? We're talkin' bout free agency? Seriously? Free agency?"

You should know by now that the reporter never gets any blame. Most people don't even realize that these guys were asked a question because the question usually isn't cited in the article--they're just drones, they read the article and think the guy just came up with it. He gave the right answer.

not saying that the amount of rings kobe has makes him better than lebron
just saying, kobe has been an elite/dominant player on 4 NBA championship teams. Say what you will, but I got as many Finals wins as LeBron. And that's #fact
CLEARLY, ADAM MORRISON ISNT BETTER THAN LEBRON. It's not just the # of rings, it's what you put in and contributed to earn them.
Say what you will, but it's something that Kobe has on his resume and LeBron does not. Sure, it's a team sport, but LeBron can now go free and choose his spot. It's just how elite great players are judged, fair or not.

Kobe was the "man" during one championship. If they win it this year, I think you have to admit Pau Gasol was a huge part of it. Having the best starting lineup in the nba doesnt hurt either.

The rings argument is the only thing Kobe fans have left. First, it was "Kobe is an elite defender, and Lebron only plays on one side of the ball"; 1 year later Lebron gets put on 1st NBA defensive team. Second, "Kobe is the MVP, clearly the best player in the league, Lebron zero MVP's", now Lebron has 2 MVP's and Kobe fans say regular season doesn't matter. The next argument was "Kobe is a better jump shooter, Lebron can only dunk"; now Lebron not only shoots a better FG% but also a better 3-point FG%. Then we had the "Kobe is more clutch, the black mamba"; now any logical fan realizes that Lebron leads the league in 4th quarter scoring and has the 2nd best "clutch" shooting %(behind Carmelo).
They've ran out of everything else, and when Lebron wins his first ring and his first finals MVP, they will find something equally as pathetic.

The Lakers also have one of the worst benches in the NBA.
For the last 2 years all we hear is how deep and good the Cavs are. For the last 2 years sleeper and many other Cavs fans says this is the year Lebron wins the Title and what happens????? They choke their way out of the Playoffs and get beat down in 2 series that weren't really that close.
Meanwhile Kobe takes his team to 3 straight Finals going thru the much, much tougher Western Conf.

Kobe is going to get a 5th ring.
5 rings vs 4 NBA Finals' games played.
It's obvious to everyone outside of Cleveland, Ohio who the king is.

LOL.....is that why since 1999 only once has the WC champ not been the Spurs or Lakers? The West has more "good" teams but only 1 elite team in the Lakers.

Where was the clutch, killer instinct that the great "black mamba" supposedly has that makes him so much more superior than lebron tonight? He went about 1-5 in the past 2 minutes, while also turning the ball over a couple of times.

Looking over box scores that show his ridiculous stat lines and his teammates shitting down their legs.

I don't think this game defines Kobe as a player, but you have to find it pretty hilarious that Laker's fans CONSISTENTLY won't accept the fact that Kobe isn't clutch. 1-5 with 2 turnovers is a great way to go out, and they were terrible shots(even the one he made).
