Anyone know any good Free Places to dowload music , where you are able to copy them on a disc? I was using WinMX for a long time but when I got my new Computer I lost my link to it.

It's stupid to use any of the old p2p methods. Limewire, Frostwire, WinMX bein used is like begging for viruses.

Torrents on private trackers, megaupload/rapidshare links are where it's at.

Yeah I agree. Discovering Jdownloader was like the best thing that happened for my downloading ways.

Get an invite to Demonoid, download a bit torrent, you're set.

Also, Megaupload/Rapidshare links are good as well..

use blogspots go to blogsearch.google.com and type in the artist ,cd and maybe a word like download or megaupload or mediafire and hit search. it should give you a list of blogs that have links to filehosting websites like megaupload/rapidshare/mediafire. ive never gotten a virus or anything from these but then again the hardcore community is a little more close knit and i trust the people creating these blogs. some of the filehosting sites even scan the file before theyre uploaded to their sites. but i always scan it once its downloaded.

rapidshare is ok if your only downloading a few cds in a day but they have a d/l per 24 hours if your not a paying customer, i usually search for blogs that use megaupload or mediafire

http://megadownload.net/

Just search it there. It's a search engine for megaupload/rapidshare.

And you only have limits on rapidshare if you don't know how to use a proxy.

utorrent.com is awesome. I've been using it since January and it has run flawlessly. It can be a bit complicated if you're computer retarded though.

If you don't understand why you should probably not be downloading music.

No, it was an honest question. IF I download, I use Limewire, but that might be once every two months or so. SO... what is the deal with Limewire?

Oh, ok.

Limewire is notorious for being the place where shady files are shared. Besides the fact that nearly every one of the files on there are low quality there are also a lot of fake files and even a lot of viruses and malware.

I also have never had a problem with limewire, though it isn't the only thing I use and I don't use it much anymore. But if you aren't a moron, you probably won't pick up any bullshit on limewire.
