My copy will be arriving today from Amazon & I also got a $10 credit for my next game purchase. I'll probably buy Heavy Rain......

UPS just delivered it... i still won't get to play for few weeks... going to beat gow 1 & 2 first. almost done with 1 now!

I'm also almost done with 1, but I don't know if I can wait to play 3 until I'm done with both lol..
I may have to beat 3, then treat 1 & 2 as prequels. Especially after hearing everyone talk about the first 20 minutes of God of War III like it's the greatest opening for a video game ever..
But yea imex, definitely pick up Heavy Rain.
And I feel you on the new budget, I'm soon to be in the same situation! (May 7th)

I'm going to try to hold off and beat 1 & 2... I've been stuck so I want to beat 1 first(so pissed off) and then beat 2 and dive into GOW 3.

The good thing is, I hear 2 is shorter than 1, so it shouldn't take as long.
I'm currently stuck on 1 though.. I'm near the end of the game on Poseidons challenge, or whatever the levels called..
I'm off tomorrow, so I may try and run through them tonight and continue it tomorrow.

Finally got past him and almost done with GOW1 and should start GOW 2 in next few days....

It's worth beating the first 2 before playing the 3rd. GW3 is really good so far, not playing much with basketball but so far so good, but what do you expect, same game better graphics. GW2 is easier I thought than 1, 1 was really long and had a few parts that drive you nuts.

Yeah, but I'm used to the camera after playing the first 2.
The game is amazing graphically though. The atmosphere within the game is really well done as well.
Loving it so far, definitely GOTY worthy.

Well, you're pretty much there then lol. Didn't mean to spoil anything for you though, if I did..
But it's basically the demo stage if you played it, however it's very different from the demo.. Kind of crazy how much they improved it since then.

I'm SERIOUSLY about ready to break this GOW 1 & 2 disk in half......
I'm in the Architects Tomb on GOW 1. The floor is moving on belt type things, crap load of flying things and arrow guys... I've died prolly about 100 times and stuff ofr about 2 weeks now & getting FUCKING pissed.... bleep the word or whatever but I've never had this trouble and so pissed right now that I can't stand this game!!!

Finally beat GOW 1 and started GOW 2. Hopefully I can beat it before my days off next week(Mon & Tue).

The platforming is pissing me off. Not sure if it is my controller or me, but I die so many times from double jumping, but not doing the second part of the jump.
