I think the old board was easier and quicker to navigate. It was simpler. I've figured out everything on the new one already, that isn't my problem.
Just simply don't like the change.
EDIT: LOL, I don't know exactly...I just don't like it. I'm a believe in if it ain't broke don't fix it. But it doesn't matter, it's your site--many people seem not to like it based on the poll but I wouldn't change it again just to appease people. Just make people adjust, myself included.

FWIW: Most people aren't liking it simply because it's different. Out of those who voted no, few (if any) have given a reason other than "OMG CHANGE!"
One thing I noticed is there's a lot of white, empty space on the actual pages (like this one) and it all runs together. Maybe alternating in some grayscale in the post bodies, or making the background to the user info some shade of grey would help.

Still not, but it really isn't that big a deal.
And just so you know, my activity on this site is likely going to decrease a lot but it really isn't about the new layout nearly as much as it is other things--just a coincidence that I'm not crazy about the layout.

Agree, most people just can't deal with the change. I know based on what I'm saying that I seem like one of those people but if you notice, my first post was that I'll just have to get used to it and it looks alright so far. I spent the morning exploring it--I figured it all out before I said anything. Just simply don't like it. It's unnecessarily more confusing and less user friendly than the old one.

I would probably shift my "okay" vote now. I like it better than the old now that I'm used to it.

Is it possible to have stickied/important threads separated from the rest, like on the previous version? I liked that aspect of things, where if we were going to tell people something important, like how we're going to start charging by the post on July 1, that thread would be separated from all the others in the forum.

I believe it is a subtle difference right now, but you can barely tell.

i was thinking the same thing. the stickied threads seem to blend in with the regular ones. maybe combining the two new forum subject threads into one to minimize the amount of stickied threads would help too.

Added some separation between the sticky and normal threads like the old software.

I voted 'awful' to be an asshole. It doesn't really bother me. One thing I would suggest is to make the font for the unread threads a little darker so there is a little more contrast with the read threads.

Maybe so it didn't all 'run together' like some are talking about...could you do something where...instead of a white background behind every post...post 1 has a white background...then the next post would come up with a gray or whatever color background...and it would just keep alternating like that back and forth through ever post made? Just a better way for some to 'separate' posts. If that makes sense.

Yeah, that is in the works. I was working on it but the wife says I have to go to this stupid cookout so I'll work on it later tonight.

While you are taking suggestions, regarding the logo, I might make the state of Ohio smaller and just use it in place of the 'O' on Ohio, and take 'OC" out of there altogether. And make the whole thing a little smaller. Something like:

I think I will keep the Ohio with OC in it, without the hio Chatter, as a simple alternate logo (like if I get some logo golfballs for the golf outing).
