Pretty crazy that there have been 2 perfect games in the last month while prior to 2010 there had only been 18. Congrats to Halladay even tho it came against the Marlins.

first time there has been 2 perfect games in the same season in the modern era. the only other time was in 1880.

Even though it came against the Marlins? It isn't like Florida is a bottom feeder with a terrible offense. They are a middle of the pack team in just about every offensive category in baseball.

Halladay is a stud. Perfect games are almost always a fluke, but I don't think you can say that in his case.

The Phillies must be a little concerned though. Even with a perfect game tonight, only 1 run. 7 total runs in their last 7 games now.

I don't give a shit what MLB team its against, a perfect game is a perfect game.

Halladay is a stud and the best pitcher in the MLB.

Great performance from Doc Halladay last night. Doesn't matter what team it is against as this is something that has happened 20 times in over 110 years of baseball. Doc has been one of the best pitchers in the league for about 5-6 years now and after last night how could you not put him in the top 2.

Pretty sure trackandccrunner is a Marlins fan. That is why he said "even if it was against the Marlins."

No, it wasn't. The software does the merge and automatically merges the newest thread into the oldest thread.

Justin is correct I am a Marlins fan and thats why I put that in my post. I wasn't trying to take anything away from Halladay because he is most certainly one of the top pitchers in the MLB.

Don't you have some software you should be finalizing instead of posting on threads? Get back to work!

Halladay is the best pitcher in the league right now, and its fun to watch him pitch every 5 days, I always tune in when he's throwing, at least for a little while.

Thank god he's out of the AL East now
