You and Justin should partnership the two sites.
We'd have the great forums and a content website for sports. Win-win

I'm sure we could work something out. Need to get content on undefeated first before we start promoting it. LOL.

I, personally, think it'd be a good idea to see some samples of articles to be posted if that makes any sense. I think if there is a "uniform" - if you will - way of writing the articles, it'll make the site much more appealing. Laley - you said you had a couple articles written, anyway you could maybe post it on here? Or through the group email? Just to kind of get a feel of how everyone else is going about all of this?

I mean, I havent formatted anything because like you said, I didnt know what was wanted. I have written press releases before, so I can try to format my recaps in that form. But I havent done them yet. When I get home tomorrow (pretty late) I will finish up the proofreading and submit them to all the emails. Right now its on my laptop which I didnt bring with me to housesit, which was extremely dumb of me. This computer doesnt even have any fun games or iTunes!!!

Awesome. Like I said, it's just my opinion...if no one else agrees, that's okay! I'm just looking for some sort of direction before I start writing it all out. I think it'd be nice, or a good idea at least, to have a proof reader, someone to edit mistakes and stuff after things are submitted - unless that's what you plan on doin' Sir Keebler. =)

Formatting shouldn't matter. Just write. I'll be making it look nice and pretty on the site.

So I had a couple ideas that might help get this site moving along. Just thoughts, and throwing them out there. Anyway, I know it's been said that we could write really about any of the topics that we want, but there are people that are assigned to those topics. I know the sports season is kind of slow right now, but if someone runs into a story that might be worth writing about - post it on here, or email it to the group. For example, I write about the American League in baseball. If someone comes up with an idea to maybe write about - then you could post it here, or email it - and I'll look into it and see about writing it.
My other thought was this...if it's not too hard to post the content to the site, (i.e. when I send Keebler an article and he post it), maybe a couple of us could be avialable to post the articles on the site. That way Keebler isn't doing it all by himself, and we can get information up on the site quickly. I'd be willing to do this. Just a thought. Hope everyone is havin' an awesome weekend.

This weekend was bad for me to get anything posted. Was out of town for the weekend. Extremely beat right now and couldn't stay away to post what I have in my Inbox right now. I'd be willing to let people post the stuff to the site but they would have to know how to use HTML/Dreamweaver or something and FTP. Also, for everything that is submitted, it has to be posted in 2 to 3 different spots on the site.
