I updated the title to reflect todays game. Dempsey deployed behind Jozy up top. I hope he has free range to move to the wings, but interesting Bradley might be going with this formation heading into the WC. All the credit to him for trying things out, and even more if it works and is effective.

Really missing Gooch's ability to organize the back line on that goal. Even at 80 per cent his ability to marshal a defense is invaluable

Our team literally can't score unless Donovan spoon feeds them a goal.
Not that that wasn't a good finish, and Dempsey is good. But holy shit, take Landon out and a run of any kind gets extremely rare.

Landon Donovan is world class player, taking a world class player of a US team which as never had a ton a depth would have a huge negative impact on the side.
