Someone called that goal by Kane cheap. No such thing as a cheap goal in hockey and that goal was far from cheap. Leighton got beat twice right through the 5 hole and it doomed him in OT.
Congrats to the Hawks and their fans. I remember the feeling in 1997 after the Red Wings had waited 42 years to lift the Cup so this victory is so special for Chicago. Glad to see Hossa lift the Cup finally. Have no ill will towards him for leaving Detroit and wanted him to badly win it last year. Toews was the obvious choice for the Conn Smythe with 29 points in the playoffs.

It is finally as great day to be a Chicago Blackhawk fan. All of those shitty years makes this feel that much sweeter. I can only imagine what I would feel like if the Browns actually won a Super Bowl

Congrats to the Blackhawks. Kane scored the most anticlimatic goal I've ever seen. The celebration was just bizzare. It's going to be a while before the Blackhawks return to the SCF considering they'll be in cap hell for the next couple of years. Toews Conn Smythe performance was ok. Nothing special like what Malkin had last year, or what Zetterberg had, either way congrats.
I'm watching Sportscenter right now, and the top "story" of the night to them is the Lakers/Celtics. PATHETIC!!! The hardest trophy in pro sports to win was just won and they're not talking about it. Thats some bullshit.

As mentioned before, Sportscenter only covers sports that ESPN covers.

4 Blackhawks and the Stanley Cup are on Leno now. Keith gave him a black leather necklace with a tooth pendant. They are sitting in with the band. Leno: "Do you guys know how to play music instruments"? ...Kane, Toews, Keith, and Seabrook : "No." ...Leno: "Great, you'll fit right in."
