I've lived in just about every part of this state. Everywhere I go, I always here people say "People here don't know how to drive". As if, people elsewhere do? People everywhere are idiot drivers.

Nonetheless, I found this link interesting. It breaks down the pass rate of all of the BMV's in Ohio. There are some interesting numbers. It makes you wonder though if some instructors are more critical at certain locales than in others.

I've lived in Ohio, Seattle, and Charlotte, and people don't know how to drive ANYWHERE. I'd say Ohioans are the best of the three that I've experienced, and turn signals are now optional.

i was in kansas city last week and the power was out, so no traffic lights. i was surprised how well everyone did what they were supposed to do with no traffic lights.

Western Pennsylvania, especially the Pitsburgh area, has the worst drivers I've ever seen

Noone from Ohio could survive L.A.'s freeways the first few times on them. (OK, you will probably survive, you just might have a shitstreak in your underwear.)

I've heard LA traffic is the worst - Boston is pretty bad,too (worse than NYC, in my opinion).

Worst --drivers-- I've ever seen were in Dallas/Fort Worth. Your vehicle seems to be considered an extension of your manhood - getting passed more than three times on the freeway there seems to be grounds for suicide for the locals.

I've drove in the bowl or whatever they call it in D.C. Traffic was backed up more there than L.A., but I think LA was more crowded(if that makes sense)

Used to travel there several times a year. People are nuts, highways are nuts. Six lanes bumper to bumper going 80. In my entire life I never experienced anything close to LA and I am not just talking traffic.

My son lives in Baltimore, DC area it is bad there too. He has picked up many bad habits. He makes me nervous driving now.

South Florida has the worst drivers in the US. Idiots break on top of a bridge like it will suddenly end on the other side.

I used to work with someone who'd just moved from California.

The first question he ever asked me was, "Is merging THAT difficult in this state?"

Karachi Pakastan was the wildest I've ever seen.
I believe the only rule was that if you drive down the sidewalk you must lay on the horn.

China was a close second.

As far as the U.S. I have to agree with LA. White knuckle driving.

haha in all the chaos that was Baghdad, i never saw one traffic accident. but its probably because most of the cars were pieces of shit and they didnt care to even stop if they ran into each other.

Michigan has the worst driving I've ever seen.

North Carolina would be 2nd

Florida 3rd.

Ohio would probably be 4th, but those are the only 4 states I've really done extensive driving in.

I'll take L.A. over Boston any day of the week. Boston is by far the most annoying i've ever been in.

D.C. is easy compared to those two, as is NYC.

We went to the Daytona 500 a couple years ago. We stayed in Orlando, and hired someone to drive us to Daytona.

He had this souped up Toyota something with a spoiler, neon lights......

Ridiculous. Everyone was going like 90 bumper to bumper and people just weave in and out of each other.]

A better question is who has the dumbest road system?
I've lived in Michigan for almost 2 years now and have driven extensivley for 3 years. The Michigan left/not being able to turn left at an intersection is fucking stupid and pisses me off.
